What makes THE HERBALIST stand out from the crowd? It is the spirit and energy you feel even before you walk through the doors. You can feel the LIFE emanating through the windows – the abundance of plant life will draw you in. Your healing actually begins upon entry.
Once you enter the shoppe, the first thing to hit your nose is the pleasant fragrance of citrus that relaxes and refreshes you. You will always be greeted with a warm smile by Greg or other staff members and offered a cup of soothing herbal tea and a cup of water. In the background you will hear soothing jazz playing; the gentle sound of running water from the fountains and aquariums situated throughout the shoppe. You can even be entertained in the waiting area by nature videos playing continuously throughout the day.
Unlike most natural health businesses, you don’t just come in to buy herbs and other remedies where you are left to make your own decisions as to which remedies are best for you. THE HERBALIST has a well-rounded, qualified and knowledgeable staff that eagerly and patiently answers your questions and concerns.
For a more in-depth and individualized program, Drs. Erin L. Taylor, and Roberta T. McClinon, Doctors of Naturopathy and Gregory Taylor, Master Herbalist are available for private consultations. Individual consultations are available on a first come, first serve basis. Consultations include a thorough discussion covering “what goes in to what comes out”. The following modalities may also be included or suggested in the consultations:
Ø Iridology - Study of the iris that shows nutrition imbalances and degrees of illness, past injuries and the healing process.
Ø Kinesiology or Muscle Response Testing - Using the muscles to locate the strength and weaknesses in the body.
Ø Chinese Facial Analysis - Analyzing the facial structures, lines, lips and eyes
Ø Healing Touch - Much like Reiki, except hands are used to feel the energy blocks in the body and move them out in a healing way.
Ø Journaling Consulting - Assistance on creating a "one-of-a-kind" journal and coaching you through the steps of good consistent journaling.
Consultations are available on a "first-come, first served" basis in the shoppe. Phone consultations are by appointment only. Other staff members include:
